Settlements & collateral
Infrastructure for shorter settlement windows

Systems that move cash and assets as settlement windows shorten, and a collateral network for tokenised money market funds.

A person looks at a desktop monitor showing a settlements dashboard with a settlement pipeline, a cut-off countdown, collateral and cash position charts and an exceptions table.
THE CHALLENGE

Shorter windows leave less time for manual work

The UK moves to T+1 for securities and T+2 for fund units in October 2027. Instructions, confirmations and cash movements have less time to wait for manual intervention.

WHAT WE BUILT

What we have built and are building

Rebuilt while the operation ran

In 2022 Calastone's settlements system was rebuilt live, connecting order aggregation, exceptions and payment tracking across banks.

SWIFT ISO 15022 and ISO 20022

Support for both message generations lets the system work across different eras of market infrastructure.

Collateral network, under way

The Calastone Collateral Network, built on the Canton Network since 2025, lets money market fund units be used as collateral.

They are authentic and always go above and beyond to deliver for us.

Check Our Case Studies

Our services help solve business challenges. Depending on the problem, we incorporate different solutions. If you’re unsure what your biggest challenge is, check our case studies - maybe you’ll find some similarities.

Sometimes, the problem is more complex and needs a creative approach - we get it. Each client we work with is different, and each solution we come up with is dedicated to the specific situation. Feel free to schedule a call to discuss your challenge.

Questions about how we work

  • How do you manage the risk of switching systems?

We rebuilt Calastone's settlements system in 2022 while the operation kept running. The new service is built alongside the existing one. Parallel testing lets your teams check it against live workflows and resolve differences before the switch, reducing disruption at cutover.

  • Who owns the system?

You own the work produced for you, including the code and documentation. Ownership transfers in full once the agreed work is paid for.

  • What happens after launch?

Authentic can continue developing and maintaining the system, or prepare a handover with documentation and training.
